The terms for using this website, and for buying the book from it once sales open.

Using this website

You are welcome to read Part One, listen to Chapter One, look around and share links to any page.
The words, the recording and the pictures belong to the people who made them and are protected by copyright. The free part is for your own reading and listening: please do not copy it out, record it or republish it.
Some of the pictures are development art from the Burrow’s End film project: work in progress, not stills from a finished film. The other paintings, and the trailer’s animation and sound, were made for this site with AI tools.

Nothing is on sale yet. Once sales open, these are the proposed terms:

The price: The price is the one shown on the checkout page when you pay. To be confirmed: the currency, and how tax is charged
The seller: To be confirmed: the seller of record, and where it is based
The ebook and the audiobook: Paid for on Stripe’s checkout and delivered by download links on your thank-you page, which work for seven days at a time. The files have no copy protection. They are for you and your household, or for the person you give them to as a present; please do not share them more widely or post the links. Keep your thank-you page’s address to yourself: it is the key to your downloads.
Refunds: To be confirmed: refunds and cancellations for digital editions
The paperback and the hardcover: Sold through the printer’s own checkout, under its terms for payment, postage, returns and damaged copies. To be confirmed: the print partner (proposed: Lulu)
A faulty file: If a file will not open or is faulty, we will replace it.

If these terms change, the new version will appear here with its date; a purchase keeps the terms it was made under.
